The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
You can see the frustration on Luk's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Jones is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Luk is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Luk has escaped and now he's on top!
Jones pulls Luk in close to prevent any damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Leeroy Jones will probably get the nod.

Luk doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Luk misses with the combination.
Fumio Luk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luk throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jones was covering up waiting for the punch and Luk finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Luk tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Luk controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.
Luk can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jones controls the pace.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Luk fails in his attempt to clinch.

Luk throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Luk lands with a nice body kick.
Luk feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Leeroy Jones.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
