Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Osmo Kein�nen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brick House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brick House!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
House sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
House lands a jab to the head.
House has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kein�nen.
Kein�nen tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and House is able to avoid easily.
No joy there for House, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kein�nen throws a leg kick but House moved away.
House swings for the body but Kein�nen moves out of range.
Kein�nen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from House.
Kein�nen shoots in but House avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kein�nen fakes a jab and throws a low kick but House checks it well.

Kein�nen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but House defends well and Kein�nen ends up having to push House into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

House jabbing away but nothing is landing.
House misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kein�nen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but House manages to avoid it.

Brick House seems to be getting the better of the standup.
House fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kein�nen on the side of the head.
House leaves Kein�nen with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

House rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kein�nen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Brick House is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
House throws a hook but Kein�nen avoids it easily.
Brick House is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kein�nen tries for a takedown but House sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Kein�nen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching House on his heels. He'll look to pass House's guard now, I'm sure.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Kein�nen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but House does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if House can do anything to dispel that myth.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


House lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kein�nen circles away quickly and effectively.
House looks to land a combination. Kein�nen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Kein�nen ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kein�nen no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Kein�nen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. House defends it easily.

House really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kein�nen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kein�nen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.


House is rocked!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kein�nen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
House is still in real trouble! Can Kein�nen finish him?
Kein�nen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Kein�nen loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have House scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Kein�nen land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Kein�nen stands and salutes the crowd.
