Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaVallee shoots in for a takedown but Tanzer shows good takedown defense.
Nice sprawl there from Tanzer as LaVallee shoots in.
LaVallee throws a body punch but Tanzer moves out of range.
LaVallee shoots in but no luck this time.
Benjamin Tanzer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jewer LaVallee.
Tanzer throws out a loose jab but LaVallee uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tanzer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but LaVallee manages to avoid it.

LaVallee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
LaVallee not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
LaVallee wants to pass the guard but Tanzer is keeping the position.
LaVallee trying to control the position from guard on top but Tanzer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Tanzer wants to stand and escape but LaVallee is having none of it.

LaVallee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
LaVallee wants to control from the top but Tanzer keeps moving.

LaVallee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
LaVallee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tanzer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tanzer can't keep his opponent in guard - LaVallee advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

LaVallee is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
