The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Constable throws a half hearted mid kick.
Newman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Constable has a takedown stuffed.
Constable throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Constable doesn't manage to clinch there - Newman circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Constable .

Constable drives through and clinches with Newman against the cage.
Constable goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Constable jumps guard and drags Newman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Constable manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Newman manages to get himself to full guard.
Constable forces his way into half guard.
Newman tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Constable has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
