The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carvalho scores with a nice strike.
Kiri tries to score a power double leg takedown but Carvalho sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kiri somewhat.
Carvalho has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Nordic Top Team in the buildup to the fight.
