Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badr Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abbe Faria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hari dives in for a single leg takedown but Faria sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Faria should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Hari manages to break the clinch.
Faria takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hari tries for a takedown but Faria sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Faria slaps away a takedown attempt from Hari, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Badr Hari. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hari shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Faria's guard.
Faria wants to sweep here but Hari controlling him for the moment.

Faria is looking for a triangle but Hari pushes his legs off easily.
Hari wants to pass the guard but Faria is keeping the position.
Hari won't allow Faria to sweep him here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hari knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Faria on the ground.

Faria pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hari tries to clinch but Faria is having none of it.
Faria has a takedown stuffed.
Faria tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hari defends well and Faria ends up having to push Hari into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Hari gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Faria regains guard.

Faria looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Faria can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hari controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Badr Hari wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Hari closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Faria did well to prevent Hari getting side control.

Still in half guard, Hari seems content to control.
Faria wants to get back to full guard.
Hari not doing much here.
Hari seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Faria for as long as he can get away with.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Badr Hari just wasn't active enough.

Hari closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Faria's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hari shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hari showed some decent athleticism there.
Faria throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Faria is trying to get back to full guard.
Still in half guard, Hari seems content to control.
Faria wants to control but Hari is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hari connects with a nice short shot to Faria's temple.
Well, if Hari is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Hari wants to pass to mount but Faria is defending the position.

Hari is controlling the pace.
Faria is looking for a sweep. Hari is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hari missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Faria is trying to stand.
Hari wants to pass to mount but Faria is defending the position.
Faria is trying to maintain the position but Hari is very close to passing his half guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Hari closes the distance and pushes Faria back into the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Faria fails to land.
Hari tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Faria smiles and moves away.

Hari closes the distance and clinches.
Faria tries to break free but Hari pushes him back against the cage.
Faria jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hari walks away with a smile on his face. Faria gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hari misses with a low kick.
Faria swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Faria is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hari lands a left and a right that send Faria crashing to the mat, dazed. Hari thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hari is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Faria can do to turn this around?
Faria is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hari gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hari is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Faria gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Hari gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Hari is pushing down on Faria's leg trying to pass to half guard. Faria is fighting to maintain full guard but Hari has managed to sneak the leg through.
Badr Hari overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hari is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Badr Hari dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Hari fails with a takedown attempt.
Hari shoots for a double leg takedown but Faria sprawls well. He's pushed Hari's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hari lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Faria circles away quickly and effectively.

and Hari counters with a single leg into guard. Faria didn't expect that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hari postures up.
Hari wants to pass the guard but Faria is keeping the position.
Faria wants to get back to his feet but Hari is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Faria is working an open guard so Hari takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Hari rushes Faria and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Faria prevents Hari from breaking the clinch.
Faria is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Hari to keep the fight standing.
Faria is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hari pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Badr Hari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Abbe Faria.
Faria takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Faria is trying to break the clinch but Hari has him pressed against the cage.
Hari will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Faria up against the cage.
Faria blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Faria has had enough of the clinch but Hari keeps him there for the moment.

Hari's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hari misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Faria closes the distance but Hari moves to the side

and Hari counters with a crisp one two that drops Faria! Hari thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Faria to his feet! Faria is in big trouble!

Hari clinches.
Hari prevents the takedown attempt.

Hari breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hari shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Faria as he avoids it easily.
Hari keeps the fight on the outside.
Hari shoots in but no luck this time.

Hari feints and as Faria raises his hands in defense, Hari changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Faria looking to control.
Faria wants to stand and escape but Hari is having none of it.
Hari controls from within his opponent's guard.
Hari preventing the sweep.
Hari slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Badr Hari just wasn't active enough.
Faria shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Hari counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hari.

Hari fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Hari manages to break the clinch.
Hari throws a sloppy head kick and Faria moves out of range easily.
Badr Hari is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hari drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Faria looking to control but Hari passes into half guard.
Faria missing with punches from the bottom.
Faria wants to sweep but Hari has passed to side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
