The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bombada to the ground. Wilson is now in Bombada's guard.

Wilson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bombada's hands.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Don Wilson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wilson scores with a one two! Bombada had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Bombada clobbers Wilson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bombada throws a right hand that Wilson ducks under and follows up with a left that Wilson also avoids with ease.
Wilson with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bombada to score with a decent uppercut.

Wilson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bombada circles away quickly and effectively.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wilson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Wilson shoots in but Bombada avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Well Wilson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
