Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between King Vasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Zane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Zane!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasquez takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Zane scores with a jab to the head.

Zane instigates a clinch.
Zane goes for a takedown attempt but Vasquez pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Zane lands with a good body shot.
Vasquez really is a fat lump.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Zane manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Vasquez working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vasquez's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Vasquez trying to control but Zane is working from the bottom.
Vasquez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Vasquez is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

King Vasquez has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Zane shoots in and drives through. Vasquez sprawls well.
Zane with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Zane throws a body punch but Vasquez moves out of range.
Vasquez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zane.
Zane misses with a body punch
and Vasquez counters with a head kick. That will keep Zane thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Vasquez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Zane did well to prevent Vasquez getting side control.

Vasquez seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Zane is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
