The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A nice leg kick lands there from Izturis.
Izturis throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

MuttaFukka drops his hands momentarily and Izturis takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

MuttaFukka feints and then cracks Izturis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Izturis down.
MuttaFukka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - MuttaFukka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
MuttaFukka throws a low kick, looking for Izturis's leg but Izturis calmly moves out of range.
MuttaFukka lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
MuttaFukka pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Izturis shoots in for a takedown but MuttaFukka shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Izturis shoots for a double leg takedown but MuttaFukka sprawls well. He's pushed Izturis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from MuttaFukka enables Izturis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. MuttaFukka manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. MuttaFukka looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out!
