Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesse Oneal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Johnsen!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oneal takes a head kick and keeps coming.


It looks like Jesse Oneal has been cut.
Johnsen fails with the takedown
and Oneal counters with a straight right hand.
Johnsen with a poor takedown

and Oneal counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Oneal in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Oneal looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Oneal prevents Johnsen from improving his position.

Oneal lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Oneal takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Johnsen on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Oneal has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Oneal seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Johnsen wants to clinch

and Oneal counters with a nice double leg into side control. Johnsen won't be happy with that.
Oneal really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Oneal in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Oneal scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Johnsen to see if he's OK.

letting Oneal counter with a right hand.

Oneal is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oneal will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Oneal drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oneal jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Oneal is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Johnsen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oneal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Oneal distracts Johnsen with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Oneal is in close to Johnsen's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnsen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Oneal is controlling him.

Oneal drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Oneal as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Johnsen screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Oneal! Nice submission victory there!
