Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aflatun Hasanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Roy Brandon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aflatun Hasanov!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasanov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brandon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Brandon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Brandon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Brandon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hasanov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Brandon misses with a few strikes there.
Brandon misses with a wild combination.
Brandon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brandon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hasanov drives through with a takedown into Brandon's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hasanov trying to control but Brandon is working from the bottom.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Hasanov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Brandon working for a triangle but Hasanov defends it easily.
Hasanov won't allow Brandon to sweep him here.
Hasanov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brandon is keeping the position for now.
Brandon pulls Hasanov in close to prevent any damage.

Hasanov passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Hasanov cracks Brandon with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Brandon is looking to regain half guard here but Hasanov keeps moving and retains side control.
Hasanov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Hasanov wants to control but Brandon is keeping him busy.

Hasanov is chipping away with strikes.
Brandon gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hasanov lands with some strikes.
Brandon is squirming around, avoiding Hasanov's attempts to control the action.
Brandon tries to lock up and control but Hasanov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Brandon is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Brandon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Brandon tries to get out of the position.
The referee warns Brandon that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hasanov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hasanov landing strikes, looking to finish!
Brandon is rocked!
Hasanov postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Brandon bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Hasanov and the fight is over!
