Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Eggman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harley Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eggman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bailey throws a head kick that misses.
Eggman lands with a nice body punch.

Bailey has closed the distance and engaged Eggman in a clinch.

Eggman pulls Bailey into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Eggman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Harley Bailey hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bailey throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Eggman escapes and throws Bailey's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Eggman decides to stand back up. Eggman steps back and let's Bailey get back to his feet.

Eggman shoots for a double leg takedown but Bailey sprawls well. He's pushed Eggman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Eggman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bailey pinned against the cage. Bailey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bailey is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Bailey jumps guard and drags Eggman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Well Bailey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
