Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladislav Munchkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winchester comes to the cage accompanied by Carry on my wayward son. Vladislav Munchkin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vladislav Munchkin!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winchester attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Munchkin takes one on the button.
A clash of legs there as Munchkin blocks the low kick.
Good shot there by Munchkin.
Munchkin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A head kick misses from Winchester.
Sam Winchester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Winchester throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Munchkin stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Winchester follows into mount!
Munchkin is rocked!
It looks like Vladislav Munchkin has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Munchkin is working to get back to half guard.
Winchester throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Munchkin in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Winchester looking to ground and pound but Munchkin is blocking nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Poor strikes thrown by Winchester there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The referee warns Munchkin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Winchester wants to control the pace but Munchkin is squirming around nicely.

Winchester is striking well from the back but Munchkin escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
Winchester wants to take a breather but Munchkin is having none of it.

Winchester is nestled in close to Munchkin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Winchester wants to lay and pray for a moment but Munchkin keeps working.

Winchester stalling away here and it's allowed Munchkin to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

That's time! Winchester's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
The fighters circle momentarily. Munchkin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Winchester throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Munchkin fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Winchester to the ground. Munchkin is now in Winchester's guard.

Winchester is trying to control but Munchkin manages to pass to mount!
Munchkin is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Winchester is looking to improve his position but Munchkin isn't that keen on the idea.

Winchester is trying to escape the mount.
Munchkin breaks from Winchester's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Winchester keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Munchkin lands a heavy elbow.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Munchkin working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Winchester is bucking up trying to escape but Munchkin cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Winchester is rocked!
Winchester is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Elite Performance Training Center, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Munchkin sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Munchkin postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Winchester in real trouble here! The ref calls for Winchester to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
