The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nealson shoots and misses
and Limbo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Limbo shoots in and gets a takedown into Nealson's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Limbo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Nealson's guard.

Nealson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Limbo pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Limbo has control of Nealson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nealson regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Limbo seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Nealson is holding on tight.

Limbo fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Limbo lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Nealson is squirming around, avoiding Limbo's attempts to control the action.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Limbo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Limbo is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Limbo extends the arm and Nealson is forced to tap!
