Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between El Chavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nino Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze has chosen Pendulum - Slam as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Nino Blaze enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Nino Blaze hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Chavo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Blaze has time to react.

That was a close round but I would say that El Chavo will probably get the nod.

Chavo looks up at the clock and then as Blaze takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Chavo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Chavo postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chavo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Blaze - the referee stops the clock and Chavo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Blaze. Chavo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Blaze fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chavo.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Blaze lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Chavo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Chavo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Nino Blaze showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

Blaze throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chavo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

I was talking to Chavo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
