Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Champ Bombada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucentus Darklance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Champ Bombada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lucentus Darklance!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darklance throws a head kick that Bombada semi-blocks.
Darklance shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bombada sprawls well. Bombada wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Darklance gets slowly back to his feet.
Darklance fails with the takedown.
Bombada stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bombada wants it to stay on the feet.
Champ Bombada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucentus Darklance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Darklance is defended easily by Bombada.
Darklance shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bombada sprawls well. Bombada wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Darklance gets slowly back to his feet.
A right-left combo lands from Bombada.

Bombada cracks Darklance with a good jab.
Darklance wants to clinch.
Darklance changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bombada tries to avoid it but Darklance manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bombada to the ground. Bombada escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bombada keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bombada scores with a body shot.
Champ Bombada is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Darklance misses with a head kick.
Bombada misses with the combination.
Darklance misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Darklance fails with a takedown attempt.
We've been told by Bombada's head coaches at CEC Underdark that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Darklance throws a head kick that misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bombada bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Darklance is rocked!

Darklance is still on wobbly legs! Can Bombada finish him?
Bombada batters Darklance with a massive right followed by a huge left! Darklance is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Bombada lands a final crushing right hand to drop Darklance to the mat with a gruesome thud! Bombada is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Champ Bombada!
Champ Bombada decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
