Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Genghis Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wladimir Kuslovich!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Darius Henderson and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan scores with the left hand. Kuslovich knows he should have avoided that one.
Khan stuffs the takedown attempt from Kuslovich. Kuslovich gets slowly back to his feet.
Kuslovich keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Good standup being displayed there by Khan as he connects with a hook.
Khan lands a nice looking body shot.
Kuslovich shoots and misses

and Khan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kuslovich is trying to drag Khan to the mat but Khan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Genghis Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wladimir Kuslovich.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Kuslovich is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Khan to keep the fight standing.
Khan digs a right hand underneath Kuslovich's ribcage. Kuslovich let out a lung full of air as it connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Khan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Kuslovich can't get the takedown.
Kuslovich misses with a hook to the ribs.
Khan gets underhooks to prevent Kuslovich's takedown attempt.
Khan lands a nice shot to the body.
Kuslovich looks winded!

Khan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Khan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Khan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kuslovich manages to get himself to full guard.
Khan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kuslovich swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kuslovich is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kuslovich has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Khan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Khan passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Kuslovich is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The referee warns Kuslovich that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Khan wants to finish this one by submission but Kuslovich is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Khan.
Kuslovich tries to reverse the position but Khan maintains control.
Khan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Khan is landing with some decent strikes but Kuslovich is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Khan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Khan lands a nice short elbow.

Kuslovich looking for subs from the bottom but Khan mounts him!
Khan lands a big shot there that rocks Kuslovich but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like Wladimir Kuslovich has been cut.

Khan connects with a bit shot that sees Kuslovich covering up! More strikes from Khan and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Khan is our winner by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Genghis Khan!
Genghis Khan made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I am not your father!'.
