Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Iain James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahdi Makungu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Makungu has chosen Nelly - Heart of a Champion as his entrance music. Mahdi Makungu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

29 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Mahdi Makungu!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makungu tests James's chin there with a solid looking shot.
James really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
James looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
James's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Makungu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! James scrambles back to his feet.
Makungu manages to get an easy takedown there - catching James on his heels. He'll look to pass James's guard now, I'm sure.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Makungu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
James escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Makungu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Makungu postures up and lands a big shot to James's brow.
Makungu engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Makungu stands up over James, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
James is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Makungu gets to his feet and stands over James, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! James felt that one! Makungu unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save James from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mahdi Makungu!
