PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tracey Ellison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jordan Hardy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tracey Ellison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Hardy!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hardy moves into range and clinches up with Ellison.
Hardy stops a takedown attempt from Ellison.
Hardy tries to land knees in the clinch but Ellison avoids the damage to the body.

Hardy pulls guard successfully.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Ellison is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hardy pulls Ellison in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hardy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ellison gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

What can Ellison do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Hardy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Hardy sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Ellison is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Ellison is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

Ellison jumps guard but Hardy stands there with Ellison around his waist. Ellison gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Well Hardy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
