Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patric Jozic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Franklin has chosen Under the Knife - Rise Against as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin darts in and clinches Jozic up against the cage.
Jozic lands a right hand.
Jozic breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jozic shoots for a takedown but Franklin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Franklin fails with the takedown
and Jozic counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jozic.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jozic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Jozic wants to control from the top but Franklin keeps moving.
Jozic is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Franklin is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jozic rolls with it to try and escape but Franklin cranks on the arm and Jozic is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
