The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellison takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Anubis tries to land a knee to the head but Ellison blocks with his arms.
Anubis lands with a right to the head.
Ellison tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Anubis just stands there and leans against the cage.
Anubis lands a hook that snaps the head of Ellison backwards.
Nice body punch from Anubis.
Ellison takes a shot to the head.
Anubis scores with a shot to the side of Ellison's head.
Ellison jumps guard but Anubis stands there with Ellison around his waist. Ellison gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Anubis lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Ellison has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Anubis after a bit of a struggle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tracey Ellison. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ellison tries to break the clinch but Anubis is controlling the position.
A nice left hand lands by Anubis.

Anubis makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Oh Ellison is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anubis creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Ellison with a big uppercut! Ellison tries to clinch up but Anubis pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Ellison to the mat! Ellison covers up and Anubis unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
