Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Hicks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Olay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tony Hicks could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jeremy Olay's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Hicks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Olay! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olay darts in and clinches Hicks up against the cage. Hicks lands a damaging elbow. A short left from Olay. Hicks is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Olay is defending well for now. A knee to the head by Olay.
Hicks tries to throw a body punch but Olay avoids it by throwing Hicks back against the cage. Olay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hicks shoots in for a takedown but Olay shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hicks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Olay swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hicks shoots in but Olay avoids the takedown attempt easily. Olay clinches up against the cage. Olay gets underhooks to prevent Hicks's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Hicks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Olay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Olay moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Tony Hicks has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hicks pushes Olay up against the cage in a clinch. Hicks comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Hicks working aggressively here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hicks tries for a takedown but Olay manages to get underhooks.
Olay on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hicks with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Olay pulls guard successfully.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Olay wants to stand up but Hicks is controlling him. Olay looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Olay scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Hicks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Olay throws a series of punches but Hicks moves out of range. Olay clinches. Olay digs a right hand into Hicks's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hicks's gas tank. Olay gets underhooks to prevent Hicks's takedown attempt.
Olay is defending well against a takedown attempt. Hicks is breathing heavily. Olay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olay uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hicks has time to react. Olay closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hicks's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hicks wants to get back to his feet but Olay is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Olay wants to control from the top but Hicks keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jeremy Olay was stalling too much, according to the referee. Olay lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Olay. Jeremy Olay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Olay bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Hicks fails to land the takedown. Olay shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olay decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hicks, up you get! Olay moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Hicks wants to clinch. Olay throws a one two combo.
Hicks shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Olay counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Olay breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hicks wants to clinch and Olay counters with a stiff right hand.
Hicks is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Olay looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Oh Hicks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! This has been an exciting period of action! The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Olay is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hicks seems to have got his legs back now. Hicks tries to roll over but Olay keeps him under control. Olay trying to mount his opponent but Hicks defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeremy Olay dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tony Hicks's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Olay closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hicks to the mat! Hicks manages to get full guard. Olay throws a big elbow that misses. Olay wants to control from the top but Hicks keeps moving. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Olay. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Olay decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Olay drives through with a takedown into guard. Olay drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hicks looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hicks looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hicks!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hicks scoring with punches and elbows. Olay is not content to let Hicks control the position. Hicks tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Olay is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hicks lands an elbow. Hicks advances to mount. Hicks unloads with some shots from mount but Olay bucks and avoids them well.
Hicks takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Olay is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Olay is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Olay bucks up and throws Hicks to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Hicks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Olay's waist but Olay gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hicks off to one side. Olay has closed the distance and engaged Hicks in a clinch.
Hicks has Olay pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Olay manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Olay pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hicks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Hicks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hicks tries for a takedown but Olay circles away easily and Olay counters with a body kick that stops Hicks in his tracks momentarily. Hicks is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Olay. Olay drops Hicks with a left right combo! Olay follows him down to the ground into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Olay stands up.

Olay throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Hicks crashing down! Hicks tries to stagger back to his feet but Olay just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Hicks asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
