Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike McDougal Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joel Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson has chosen Real American as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDougal Jr clinches.
McDougal Jr gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
McDougal Jr stands and throws Thompson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Thompson is looking to regain half guard here but McDougal Jr keeps moving and retains side control.
Thompson seems a little lost for a moment, as McDougal Jr dominates the positioning.
Thompson tries to escape but McDougal Jr is in control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mike McDougal Jr will probably get the nod.
