The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Slayer drives through and clinches with Shono against the cage.
Knees to the body from Slayer.
Shono takes an elbow to the temple.
Shono looking to throw knees to the head but Slayer is blocking nicely.
Slayer struggles to land a body shot inside as Shono controls his hands.
Slayer lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Shono.

Slayer lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Slayer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Shono really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Slayer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Slayer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Shono sees it coming and defends easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Slayer trying to mount his opponent but Shono defends it.

Slayer is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Shono is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
