The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danneskj�ld feints and as Stanko raises his hands in defense, Danneskj�ld changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Danneskj�ld won't allow Stanko to sweep him here.
Stanko is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Danneskj�ld in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Danneskj�ld pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Stanko is keeping the position for now.
Danneskj�ld distracts Stanko with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Danneskj�ld drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Danneskj�ld seems to have locked his on tight now - Stanko screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Danneskj�ld, as he picks up the win!
