Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marcello Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcello Sanchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Norris! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanchez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Norris moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Sanchez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Norris looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Sanchez moves into full mount! Norris wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Norris tries to break free.
Norris looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Sanchez is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Norris knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Norris for a finish. Norris showing good submission defense here.

Norris connects with a leg kick. Sanchez looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Sanchez misses with a body shot.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Norris tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sanchez's elbow. Sanchez has had enough of the clinch but Norris keeps him there for the moment. Norris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Norris stuns Sanchez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Norris throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sanchez. Marcello Sanchez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sanchez takes a shot right to the bread basket. Norris misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sanchez.
Sanchez goes for a double leg but Norris avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Norris continues to drive forward. Norris doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sanchez connects with a nice short shot to Norris's temple. Norris won't allow Sanchez to pass to mount. Sanchez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Norris keeps working. Norris moves into full guard.

Sanchez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sanchez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Norris is trying to control the position but Sanchez postures up. Norris looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Sanchez passes into side control.
Sanchez has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Chuck Norris is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Norris slaps away a takedown attempt from Sanchez, before circling back to the center of the mat. Marcello Sanchez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sanchez looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Norris misses with a kick to the body and Sanchez counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcello Sanchez showed his dominance in that final round. I think Norris has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
