Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brian King has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Joe!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Joe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
King pushes Joe off looking to stand but Joe dives back in and keeps control.
Joe trying to control the action but King is working from the bottom.
King flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Joe passes to side control.
King is looking to regain half guard here but Joe keeps moving and retains side control.
Joe wants to lay and pray for a moment but King keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Joe is looking to advance position but King won't allow it.
Joe seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Joe is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

King is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Joe has hold of one of King's legs. King is fighting the takedown attempt but Joe gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

King will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Well Joe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
