Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tim Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dock Jeffries (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter comes to the cage accompanied by Galneryus - Everlasting. Tim Hunter could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dock Jeffries's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tim Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dock Jeffries!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeffries throws a left and a right that both miss

and Hunter counters by clinching up.
Jeffries blocks a body shot from Hunter.
Hunter drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jeffries pulls his leg out and moves away.
A jab from Jeffries does it's job there.
Hunter misses with an uppercut.
Jeffries misses with a few strikes there.
Hunter fails to land with a series of punches.
Hunter on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jeffries swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Hunter counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hunter is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hunter passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Jeffries dodges the ground and pound from Hunter.
Hunter working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Jeffries takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Hunter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hunter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hunter in side control, throwing shots but Jeffries defends.

Hunter is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Jeffries's shoulder. That is not cool.
Hunter misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Hunter tries to score with some ground and pound. Jeffries controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Hunter happy to just control the position for now.

Hunter working the ground and pound but Jeffries is defending the strikes.
Jeffries dodges the ground and pound from Hunter.
Jeffries really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jeffries seems a little lost for a moment, as Hunter dominates the positioning.
Hunter sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Jeffries is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Hunter takes a little break here. Jeffries wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Hunter has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hunter misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Hunter closes the distance and pushes Jeffries back into the cage.
Hunter works on Jeffries's body with a couple of short punches.
Hunter is trying to drag Jeffries to the mat but Jeffries just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jeffries prevents a body shot from Hunter.
Hunter tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Hunter digs a right hand into Jeffries's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jeffries's gas tank.
Hunter doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Hunter tries to throw a body punch but Jeffries avoids it by throwing Hunter back against the cage.
Hunter has Jeffries pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jeffries manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Hunter tries to work over Jeffries's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hunter.
Hunter misses with a hook to the ribs.
Jeffries wants to get back to striking at distance but Hunter won't allow it.

Hunter has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jeffries after a bit of a struggle.

Hunter swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Hunter tries to score a body lock takedown but Jeffries shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Hunter wants to clinch.
Jeffries circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jeffries misses with an uppercut.
Tim Hunter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A combination from Jeffries does no damage.
Jeffries is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hunter.

Hunter manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jeffries on his heels. He'll look to pass Jeffries's guard now, I'm sure.
Hunter not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hunter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hunter thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jeffries's head.

Hunter throws some wild stikes that Jeffries manages to avoid easily.

Dock Jeffries has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jeffries wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hunter.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hunter fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

And that's the end of the fight!
Tim Hunter showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hunter, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
