Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damon Pierce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Danger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pierce comes to the cage accompanied by Eve 6 - Inside Out. Danger has chosen Danger as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damon Pierce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlos Danger!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierce ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Danger moves away.
Danger takes one to the side of the head.
Danger defending well as Pierce loads up on a big left hand.
Pierce looks to score with a jab to the body but Danger is just out of range.
Pierce is looking to score with low kicks.
Damon Pierce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pierce bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Danger has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Pierce.

Pierce instigates a clinch.
Pierce is looking to break free of the clinch but Danger has double underhooks.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Pierce jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Danger walks away with a smile on his face. Pierce gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Pierce displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Danger throws out the jab.

Danger throws a series of punches but Pierce avoids them all with ease.
Danger steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Pierce. That one must have hurt.
Pierce fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Danger looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Pierce walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Danger checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Danger lands a glancing blow to the side of Pierce's head.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pierce looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pierce throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Danger throws a hook to the side of Pierce's head but Pierce sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nice uppercut lands for Danger. That snapped Pierce's head back.
Pierce misses with a kick to the body.
Danger connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pierce closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Danger did well to prevent Pierce getting side control.

Danger is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Pierce is staying active.

That was a close round but I would say that Damon Pierce will probably get the nod.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Carlos Danger hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

That was a close round but Damon Pierce did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Danger lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pierce has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pierce and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pierce.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pierce, as that shot connected.

Let's hope that Danger has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Danger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pierce doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pierce manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
