Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brandon Grant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grant closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ziomek quickly recovers to half guard.
Ziomek avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Grant.
Grant throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Ziomek trying to hold on to Grant's head to control him but Grant postures up.
Ziomek is looking for a sweep. Grant is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ziomek keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Grant throws a strike but Ziomek avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Grant wants to control from the top but Ziomek keeps moving.
Grant stands up over Ziomek, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Grant wants to control from the top but Ziomek keeps moving.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Grant keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ziomek's head.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ziomek holds on and takes a little breather.
Ziomek looking to hit a scissor sweep but Grant is one step ahead there.
Grant throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ziomek works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Grant wants to control from the top but Ziomek keeps moving.
Ziomek keeping full guard, as Grant tries to pass.
Grant with a flurry of punches that miss.
Grant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ziomek swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Grant must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
