Velez throws a right hand that Carwin ducks under and follows up with a left that Carwin also avoids with ease.
Carwin with a nice cross.

It looks like Abe Velez has been cut.
Carwin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Velez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Carwin drops Velez with a beautiful combination! Velez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Carwin is looking for the KO!

Hector Carwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
