Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Lahey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jurek Timotic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jurek Timotic was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Lahey gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Lahey tries to pass the half guard into mount. Timotic knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Timotic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Lahey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Timotic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lahey is nestled in close to Timotic, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Timotic is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lahey scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lahey connects with a nice short shot to Timotic's temple.

Lahey takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Lahey lands a big elbow - Timotic is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Lahey!
