Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hakkon Hakkonson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Hoft (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hakkonson comes to the cage accompanied by Blashyrk. Hoft comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Let's Get Rocked - Def Leppard kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoft connects with a high kick.
It looks like Hakkon Hakkonson has been cut.
Hakkonson clinches up with Hoft and pushes him back against the cage.
Hakkonson has picked Hoft up - he's going for a ride! Hakkonson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Hakkonson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hoft does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hakkonson thows a huge punch but Hoft dodges it nicely.
Hakkonson content to control rather than advance.
Hakkonson is working for a submission of some sort.
Hakkonson stops Hoft from getting back to his feet.
Hakkonson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hakkonson throwing shots but Hoft is blocking nicely.
Hoft is kicking away at Hakkonson from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Hakkonson grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a hell hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Hoft trying to push Hakkonson off... Hoft taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
