Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Abott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Mcgillicutty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abott's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Winner Takes it All!. On his way into the cage it seems that David Abott has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily David Abott seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Mcgillicutty!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abott fails in his attempt to clinch.
Abott looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mcgillicutty checks a leg kick.
Abott wants to clinch
and Mcgillicutty cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mcgillicutty has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Abott tries to clinch but Mcgillicutty is having none of it.
Mcgillicutty shoots for a double leg takedown but Abott sprawls well. He's pushed Mcgillicutty's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A nice combination there by Mcgillicutty.
Abott fails to land the takedown.
Nice sprawl there from Mcgillicutty as Abott shoots in.
Abott shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mcgillicutty pinned against the cage. Mcgillicutty gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Abott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mcgillicutty misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Abott.
Mcgillicutty moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like David Abott has been cut.
Abott throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mcgillicutty drops Abott with a right and a left! Mcgillicutty comes rushing in but Abott regains his composure and manages to keep Mcgillicutty in guard.
Abott is rocked!
Mcgillicutty forces his way into half guard.
Oh Abott is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mcgillicutty lands a big elbow - Abott is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Mcgillicutty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jack Mcgillicutty!
After the fight, Jack Mcgillicutty was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
