Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toshiro Montero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Quintana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montero comes to the cage accompanied by Danzig - Mother . Julio Quintana has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Toshiro Montero's chin.

With a record of 13 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Julio Quintana!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Quintana.
Montero misses with a kick to the body.

and Quintana cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Some bone on bone action there as Montero checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Montero will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That was a close round but Toshiro Montero did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.
