Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones has chosen 50 Cent - God Gave me Style as his entrance music. Jon Jones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones swings for the body but Bruce moves out of range.
Bruce fails with a takedown attempt.
Jones throws a lazy head kick
and Bruce counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jones is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Bruce gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jones misses with a knee strike.
Jones controlling the action here for a moment.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Bruce really is a fat lump.
Bruce can't seem to implement his control oriented gameplan at the moment. That's no bad thing of course, for those of us who want to see a good fight.
Jones struggles to land a body shot inside as Bruce controls his hands.
Jones stalls.
Bruce scores with a shot to the side of Jones's head.
Bruce has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Jones gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Juan Bruce has been cut.
Jones comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Jones lands an elbow that stopped Bruce in his tracks for a moment.

Juan Bruce's cut is getting worse.
Bruce is breathing heavily.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Jones.

Jeez, Juan Bruce's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Jones is struggling to control the position.
Bruce blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Juan Bruce's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
