The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Godin moves forwards but Preston connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Preston fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Godin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Preston throws a push kick but Godin slaps the foot to one side.

Godin shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Preston is not content to let Godin control the position.

Preston stalks Godin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Godin's face. Godin staggers backwards, shaken.
