The judges for this bout are Topper Green, John Mangel and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Duffy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Scott somewhat.
Scott looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Duffy!
Duffy struggling a bit here.
Scott works to advance to full mount. Duffy defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Scott trying to control but Duffy is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Duffy turns into him and now he's in Scott's guard.

Duffy could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Scott manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Duffy is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Scott stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scott throws the kick towards the body but Duffy avoids it.
Scott shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Scott showed some decent athleticism there.

Duffy manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Scott keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Duffy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Scott just stands there and leans against the cage.
Scott has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Duffy uses from the top position.
Duffy throwing strikes but missing.
Scott has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Duffy doesn't defend quickly enough and Scott has managed to lock this one up! Can Duffy escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Scott on a fantastic submission victory.
