The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mizo.
Faber looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mizo is fending him off so far but Faber persists. Nope, Mizo circles away and we're back to standing.
Mizo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mizo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Faber as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Mizo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Faber leaves Mizo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Mizo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Faber is looking to control Mizo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Faber avoid being mounted?

Mizo is trying to work for a kimura but Faber is defending well.

Mizo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Faber is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
