Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Ruden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dyllz Tahere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tahere has chosen Bob Marley - One Love as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Ruden!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dyllz Tahere!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Tahere. No joy for Ruden on that attempt.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tahere lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ruden has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ruden and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Ruden's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ruden duly obliges.

Tahere connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ruden momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ruden does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ruden is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joe Ruden.
I think Ruden has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
