Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anton Hong!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narayanan checks a leg kick.
Narayanan scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!


It looks like Anton Hong has been cut.
Narayanan moves out of range of the leg kick from Hong.
Hong thuds his shin into the meat of Narayanan's side.
A head kick misses from Hong.
Anton Hong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Narayanan shoots for a double leg takedown but Hong sprawls well. He's pushed Narayanan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hong throws a push kick but Narayanan slaps the foot to one side.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hong enables Narayanan to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hong manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Narayanan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Narayanan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hong misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Narayanan.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Whack! Hong lands a heavy head kick that drops Narayanan. The ref tackles Hong to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Narayanan was done.
