PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Krystyn Suliaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Rix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Krystyn Suliaw has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Krystyn Suliaw seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suliaw moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Suliaw throws a wild body kick that Rix sees coming a mile off.
Suliaw staying out of range there.
Suliaw cracks the inside of Rix's front leg.
Suliaw takes one on the button.
Rix lands a nice looking body shot.
Rix connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Suliaw momentarily.
Rix looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Suliaw gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rix.

Rix chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Suliaw can pounce on him.

Suliaw loads up on a big right hand but Rix slips the punch.
Rix throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Suliaw stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Rix scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Suliaw doesn't seem bothered though.

Rix connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Suliaw's hands.

Rix walks forward, straight into a front kick from Suliaw.
Some bone on bone action there as Rix checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Suliaw takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Rix fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rix ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Suliaw dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Rix. That did some damage!

Rix feints and then cracks Suliaw's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Suliaw down.

Suliaw tries to close the distance and clinch but Rix swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Rix lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Rix looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The crowd cheers as Rix lands an impressive looking overhand right. Suliaw doesn't seem phased though.

Suliaw is rocked!
Suliaw tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Rix paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Oh Suliaw is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Suliaw tries to move into range but Rix moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Suliaw really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rix gets through Suliaw's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Suliaw is looking to control Rix's arms but Rix gets an underhook and turns him. Now Suliaw has his back to the ropes.

Rix pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Both fighters circling a little - Suliaw finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Rix fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Suliaw looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Suliaw takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rix misses with a low kick as Suliaw jumps back.
Rix walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Suliaw checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

A looping hook to the body misses from Rix. Suliaw does a little dance to reset his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Matt Rix.
Well Rix has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
