Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wrest Wallberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Water (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wrest Wallberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sid Water!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallberg rushes Water and presses him up against the cage.

Water pulls Wallberg in close to prevent any damage.
Wallberg wants to pass the guard but Water is keeping the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Water can do anything to dispel that myth.

Wallberg misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Nice takedown defense from Water. No joy for Wallberg on that attempt.
