The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frenandez shoots in for a double leg but Sims sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Sims closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sims lands in his opponent's guard.

Sims has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Sims lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Sims really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Frenandez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sims walks away with a smile on his face. Frenandez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sims feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sims connects with a nice short shot to Frenandez's temple.
