Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hudson Vern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toreo Morimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hudson Vern!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Toreo Morimoto!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vern looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Morimoto with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Morimoto misses with a wild body shot.
Morimoto misses with a lunging right hand
and Vern counters with a nice body kick.
Vern fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Left hook, right uppercut from Vern.
Morimoto throws an off balance right hand
and Vern makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Vern avoids the body shot from Morimoto.
Morimoto swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Morimoto misses with a right hand
and Vern moves into the clinch.
Vern pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Vern fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vern breaks the clinch.
Vern misses with a takedown attempt - Morimoto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hudson Vern. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morimoto cracks a nice hook into Vern's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Morimoto works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The fighters circling - Morimoto throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Morimoto misses with a hook.
Morimoto misses with a looping left.
Morimoto throws a jab but it's blocked by Vern.
Morimoto throws a poor cross that misses
and Vern counters with a thumping low kick.
Horrible takedown by Vern or perhaps it was just good defense by Morimoto which made him look bad.
Morimoto misses with a wild combination.
Vern takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Morimoto bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vern's head backwards.
No luck for Vern with that takedown attempt.
Vern is breathing heavily.
Morimoto ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Morimoto lands a left and a right that send Vern crashing to the mat, dazed. Morimoto thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Vern is rocked!
It looks like Hudson Vern has been cut.
Morimoto cracks Vern with a left hook right on the temple and Vern goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Morimoto lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Vern is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Toreo Morimoto!
