The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFadden walks into a left hand.
McFadden throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Anthony was covering up waiting for the punch and McFadden finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
McFadden throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
McFadden throws a big right hand that misses.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anthony is on top in guard.
McFadden wants to get back to his feet but Anthony is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Anthony tries to free his leg and advance position but McFadden is retaining full guard.
Anthony gets to his feet - McFadden follows without any prompting.
Anthony looks to land a left hand but McFadden moved out of range nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Anthony stuffs the takedown attempt from McFadden. McFadden gets slowly back to his feet.

Anthony drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

McFadden shoots in but Anthony avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Anthony passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McFadden gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
McFadden is in all sorts of trouble here.
