Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mournfully Singing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singing shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Singing showed some decent athleticism there.

Singing got a little sloppy there for a moment and Black has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Singing has managed to get both his arms back between Black's legs - danger averted.

Black drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Black jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Black is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Black passes Singing's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Singing knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Black on the ground.
Singing is trying to maintain the position but Black is very close to passing his half guard.

Black is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Singing sees it coming and defends easily.
Black seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Singing wants to improve his position but Black is controlling well.

Singing is looking to control Black's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Singing avoid being mounted?

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Singing lands a jab to the nose.
Singing ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Black moves away.
Singing tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Black was well out of range. Poor timing from Singing.
Singing fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Black manages to avoid it.
Singing works over Black's head and body with a nice combination.

A telegraphed right hand from Singing misses the target.

Black moves forwards but Singing connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Singing manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Black on his heels. He'll look to pass Black's guard now, I'm sure.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Black looking to hit a scissor sweep but Singing is one step ahead there.

Black looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Singing is defending well. Black quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Singing has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Black celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Robert Black!
Our winner, Robert Black, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
