Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Mckenzie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob King!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mckenzie gets caught napping as King dives in and scores a takedown. Mckenzie manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mckenzie wants to sweep but no luck.
Mckenzie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in King's guard.
King looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Mckenzie scoring with some ground and pound.
King looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mckenzie puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
King should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
King is looking to improve his position.
King avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mckenzie.
King makes his way to full guard. A much better position for King.
Mckenzie lands a couple of decent looking shots.
King doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Mckenzie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mckenzie works over King with some ground and pound from guard.
Mckenzie chips away with some ground and pound.
Mckenzie prevents King from getting back to his feet.
Mckenzie keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of King's head.
Mckenzie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

King is looking to sweep but instead, Mckenzie has passed into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mckenzie connects with a nice short shot to King's temple.
King wants to control the action here but instead Mckenzie manages to pass to full mount!
King looks winded!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Mckenzie is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! King is forced to tap! Great finish!
