Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ali Bash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Will Robinson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson shoots and misses

Bash should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Robinson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Bash has picked Robinson up - he's going for a ride! Bash dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Robinson moves out of range of the body kick from Bash.

Bash drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

We're going to have a standup here because Will Robinson wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Robinson enables Bash to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Robinson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ali Bash was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Bash closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Bash looks up at the clock and then as Robinson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bash smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bash has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bash is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Robinson will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
