PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Russell Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Burroughs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armstrong has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burroughs moves into the clinch successfully.

Burroughs ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Burroughs no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Burroughs wants to sweep here but Armstrong controlling him for the moment.
Burroughs is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Burroughs is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Burroughs 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Burroughs is trying to break the clinch but Armstrong is controlling him.

Burroughs turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Armstrong really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Armstrong is not content to let Burroughs control the position.
Armstrong is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Armstrong seems a little lost for a moment, as Burroughs dominates the positioning.
Burroughs cracks Armstrong with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Burroughs has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Burroughs has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Armstrong is breathing heavily.
Burroughs connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Armstrong! He's out on his feet! Burroughs rushes in and drops Armstrong with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
